Teaching Philosophy

I believe that the best golf lessons are the ones where students leave the range feeling genuinely better about their game — and actually understand why. Whether I'm working with a junior picking up a club for the first time or an adult looking to finally fix that persistent fault, I focus on clear, purposeful communication and adjustments that are easy to understand and put into practice. For me, fun and learning are not opposites — they go hand in hand. When students are engaged and enjoying themselves, they absorb information faster, practice more willingly, and improve more consistently. That's especially true with juniors, where creating the right environment can mean the difference between a lifelong love of the game and walking away from it. In my one-to-one sessions, I take time to understand each student's goals, current game, and how they learn best before making any recommendations. Every swing is different, and every lesson plan should be too. I use a structured but flexible approach — building solid fundamentals while always keeping the bigger picture of on-course performance in mind. I want every student I work with to feel supported, challenged, and genuinely excited about their progress.
