Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is simple: golf has the power to transform lives, and I bring that belief into every lesson I give. With over 35 years of experience competing and coaching at the international level, I understand what it takes to build a game that holds up — from the first tee to the final putt. I focus on simplifying the fundamentals, because a strong foundation is what creates lasting improvement. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up a club for the first time, a junior learning discipline and confidence through sport, or an experienced player chasing consistency and lower scores, my approach is always tailored to you. I use video analysis and cutting-edge technology to give students clear, visual feedback — so you can see exactly what's happening in your swing and understand precisely what to change. Lessons include customised drills, detailed summaries, and demonstrations to bridge the gap between the range and the course. But beyond mechanics, I care deeply about the person standing in front of me. Golf teaches patience, resilience, and character — and I'm committed to helping every student grow not just as a golfer, but as an individual. My mission is to inspire, elevate, and transform lives through golf.
About the coach
Leading Golf Coach, Director of Golf and and Head Professional with over 35 years of international golf expertise. My journey in golf spans continents — from representing India as the country's #1 ranked amateur for six consecutive years, to winning on the Asian Tour in my very first professional event, the Hero Honda Masters in 2002, to now serving as Director of Golf and Head Professional at Broadmoor Public Golf Course in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
As an amateur, I made history as the only Indian golfer to win the Nomura Cup Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, the Singapore Amateur, the Pakistan Amateur, the All-India Amateur National Championship, and the SAARC Championship. I represented Asia in the inaugural Europe vs. Asia-Pacific Team Championship and defeated the reigning European Champion in Australia. Professionally, I went on to win four tournaments and compete across the Asian, European, Japan, and Canadian Tours.
Beyond playing, I've dedicated myself to growing the game at every level. I've served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Golf Tour of India, chaired its Tour Policy Committee, and built coaching programs that have reached thousands of golfers — from children as young as three to senior players and corporate groups. I hold a Master's Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, giving me both the technical depth and leadership perspective to run world-class golf programming.
