Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy starts with a simple observation from my own playing career: the players who struggled in competition rarely had a technique problem. They struck the ball beautifully on the range. What broke down under pressure was what was going on in their heads while they swung. That is what I work on. I do not begin with tools or templates. I begin by understanding you — your game, your patterns, how you carry yourself after a bad hole, what your internal voice sounds like when the pressure is on. The difference between swinging with a warning in your head and swinging with an intention is not a small thing. It shows up in the result, reliably. I work with ambitious golfers who already have a swing coach and want to build the mental layer that makes their technical game actually perform when it counts. We look at tournament preparation, on-course decision-making, and the thoughts and habits that are costing you shots — not on the range, but where it matters. I believe real change takes time, honesty, and commitment. I do not offer quick fixes, and I am transparent about that from the start. What I offer is a structured, personal working relationship built around weekly check-ins, specific tasks for the range and course, tournament preparation and review, and genuine availability when you need it most. I take on a limited number of players at a time so that every player I work with gets my full attention.
About the coach
I'm a 28-year-old Austrian playing professional and golf performance coach based at Golfclub Föhrenwald, near Wiener Neustadt. I picked up a golf club at 16 with one ambition: to turn professional. After several competitive amateur seasons, I made that step — and it taught me more about performance than any textbook could.
Along the way I worked with nine different coaches, from Olympic sport backgrounds to coaches with European Tour experience. Technically, I had access to the best help available. And yet, what cost me shots in tournaments was almost never technique. Most golf problems are not golf problems. If you strike it well on the range and not in competition, you do not have a technical problem. You have a problem with what is going on in your head while you swing.
That realisation became the foundation of everything I do as a coach. Today I work exclusively with ambitious golfers — competitive amateurs, tournament players, and professionals — who want to close the gap between how they play in practice and how they perform on the course. I specialise in mental performance and on-course strategy: the inner game that technique alone cannot fix.
I am not a replacement for your swing coach. I work alongside him. My role is to help you manage your mind, sharpen your strategy, and build the mental habits that hold up when the stakes are real. I work 1:1 only and take on a limited number of players — because individual focus is not a nice-to-have, it is the whole point.
