Eric Simon

About the coach

I am an associate member of the PGA of America and native of Columbus, Ohio. I have been playing and teaching golf for 45 years. I was an accomplished player and member of a high school state championship golf team. (Jack Nicklaus alma matter, Upper Arlington) Since then, I have been playing amateur golf tournaments, teaching, and being and avid student of the game and its rich history.

I am currently a full time, certified teaching professional, personal coach, and club fitter with based in Montclair, New Jersey and I teach over 2,000 lessons per year. I pride myself in understanding both the technical aspects of the golf swing while clearly understanding how important it is to feel all the critical positions of a solid golf swing.

I believe my communication skills are what separate me and have made me a successful teacher and coach. If a student doesn’t understand what I’m trying to communicate, all will be lost. I look forward to meeting with you to understand your goals for your golf game.
