Teaching Philosophy
I believe golf should be understood before it is changed. Every golfer is different, so there is no single perfect swing. Simple movements, repeated well, outperform complicated swing thoughts. The body is the most important training aid you will ever own. Technology can support improvement, but it should never replace understanding. The best practice sessions have purpose, not just volume. I coach golfers to understand their ball flight, not guess at it. My goal is to build swings that are reliable under pressure, not just on the range. Real improvement comes from consistency, patience, and clarity. My role is to simplify the game so you can play it with more confidence and enjoyment.
About the coach
I’m Danny Coombs, a PGA Professional committed to helping golfers improve through simple, effective coaching. I believe golf should be understood before it is changed, and that every golfer deserves an approach tailored to their own game. My coaching is built on clear fundamentals, natural movement and purposeful practice rather than unnecessary complexity. I don’t believe there is one perfect golf swing—only the best swing for the individual. I use simple drills that cost little or nothing, proving that meaningful improvement doesn’t depend on expensive technology or training aids. My goal is to help golfers build confidence by understanding their ball flight, movement and practice, so they can perform with greater consistency on the course. Whether coaching in person or through digital programmes, I focus on creating lasting improvement rather than quick fixes. Above all, I want every golfer I work with to enjoy the game more by playing with greater confidence, clarity and trust in their own swing.
