About the coach

About me:

My name is Chloe Thackeray and I am a PGA coach based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Originally from London, I played college golf in Oklahoma, then came back and turned Pro when I moved to Scotland. I have spent the last 6 years focusing on my coaching, and have had a busy diary for that time whilst battling the Scottish elements.

Why Skillest?

I’m turning to online coaching now as I have had a waitlist for a year, so I figured this was a good alternative way to service some more golfing needs. (Also a little shelter from the cold!)

My coaching style:

Very simple, focusing on the lowest hanging fruit first (what makes the biggest impact). I operate with the philosophy that one size absolutely doesn’t fit all, so you will receive advice that is personalised to you. Once we have diagnosed the problem area and discussed the way we are going to address it, I will equip you with drills and exercises to achieve your goals.

How do I receive feedback from my coach?

You will receive feedback from your coach through the Skillest app. Your coach will record their own videos with their analysis as well as additional drills to work on and send them back to you inside the lesson. You can watch your coach’s analysis, which may include video, audio, text, or drawings and see the changes and improvements they suggest for your swing. You can also ask your coach follow-up questions you have, and chat with them through the app. You can also review your feedback and track your progress anytime on the app.
