About the coach

Hi Everyone 日本語⬇️
I have been teaching Golfers of all levels for more than 20 years in Australia, Japan and China.
Now Based and teach in Melbourne, Australia.
I also helped set up and run successful seasonal Golf Schools in Japan for 10 years and later China.

I’ve coached alongside many coaches, but for the past 15 years I’ve studied and been accredited as a Level 4 GEGAS “ Gary Edwin Golf Right Sided Swing Instructor “.
I can teach any student a Simple, Repeatable, Efficient and Powerful Golf swing.

I like to show students how their current swing works and what happens when it goes wrong, explain how their swing patterns work and provide corrective drills and how to practice effectively.

I believe this method of coaching is well suited to online coaching and I’ve coached many students online over the years.

Hi Craig, Just wanted to say thank you again for another great lesson. I cant recommend highly enough the feedback format youve used showing my swing side by side with a player model is incredibly powerful. I honestly dont think you could achieve this level of detail in a traditional face-to-face lesson, and the fact that it can all be done from the comfort of your home makes it even more impressive. The information you provide is concise, clear, and easy to follow. I truly believe this is the future of golf coaching not only in how the game is taught, but more importantly, in how its understood and learned. Thanks again for all your efforts

Hi Craig, Ive just gone through all your videos wow. My mind is blown. I feel like Ive been playing golf completely back to front, or at least the opposite of what I conceptually thought I understood. It really goes to show how misleading guesswork can be until you have a good coach who can break things down properly. If this is your first lesson with me, please expect a detailed and thorough assessment & analysis of your golf swing.
I’d like to know about your game and what you believe your current swing faults and ball flight problems are.
I will do a detailed voice over and video analysis of your golf swing using Skillest's analytical tool, breaking down your swing to help you understand your swing patterns and what happens when it goes wrong.
I will make customized video demonstrating exactly what you need to work on and drills that will help you integrate any changes required.
I will advise you on ways to practice more effectively and how you can integrate the lesson components and drills into your practice sessions
My goal in this session lesson is to help you: 1. Understand your swing and 2. How you can learn to help yourself.
The beauty of this app is that you can always refer back this lesson, and we can use it as base in your future lessons with me.

The Downswing

The Downswing This course follows on from my previous 2 courses : “Set Up Essentials” and “Building a Simpler Backswing” Although not essential I recommend watching these 2 courses first to give you a better understanding of my explanations in this course. In this course I talk all about the “ Downswing “ , what should happen from the top of the backswing to give you a simple repeatable impact , swing path and ball flight. Building a Simpler Backswing

This Course follows on from my “ Set Up Essentials “ course. If the Starting Body Shape / Posture is correct it’s time to talk about how to start and finish the backswing. In this course I’ll show you how the swing starts, what moves and how to get to a good position at the top of the backswing . I’ve also included 2 simple drills that you can use to practice the backswing at home or at the range.

Bunker Shots Made Simple

Most people , especially beginners and high handicappers struggle with Greenside bunker shots. This is because most people have 1. No confidence in their ability to get the ball out and 2. No repeatable technique in how to play a bunker shot. I created this course to help anyone get out of a bunker consistently. This is the method I use to teach all my students how to play Greenside bunker shots. It’s a simple method I have taught for many years and with practice you can make bunker shots easier.

Set Up Essentials - The 4 Essential Steps to a repeatable Set Up

I teach all my students from Beginners to Advanced the importance of correct set and posture before they even think about swinging the club. I have come up with 4 ESSENTIAL Steps that need to be taken in order to have a consistent and repeatable set up routine. The 4 steps are : 1. Feet and Ball position 2. The Grip 3. Body Shape / Posture 4. Arm Shape I discuss each of these steps in detail so that you can easily incorporate this into your own Golf practice.
