About the coach
Hi, I’m Chris Parker an Advanced PGA Professional and Senior Certifed Leadbetter Instructor with over 25 years of experience helping players of all levels elevate their game from Beginners to Amateur Scratch Golfers and Touring Professionals.
I was drawn to the teaching and coaching philosophy of David Leadbetter in 2003 where I began my Leadbetter Certification. In 2005, after successfully completing my certification, I began working for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Timmendorfer Strand, Germany, moving in 2010 to the Academy in Munich as Senior Instructor and Head of Training. In 2013 an opportunity arose to return to the UK where I took on the position of Director of Golf for the newly established Leadbetter Academy at Leeds Golf Centre. Now presently settled down in Harrogate and bringing up my young family, where I am currently based at the prestigious Rudding Park Hotel and Spa Golf and Country Club.
PHILOSOPHY
Chris’s philosophy is very much the ‘Holistic Approach’ where he looks at ALL aspects of a players golf game. He is passionate about evolving the way golfers are coached and how humans perform on and off the course. He uniquely tailors his instruction for the individual needs of players, providing the necessary framework for technical and skill development in all areas of the game. Chris uses the most cutting-edge technology to help the client grow their game. Trackman with High Speed Video Analysis Sam Putt Lab (ultra sonic highly accurate putter movement data) Sam Balance lab (measures weight distribution and weight transfer) Sports Box Ai 3D (body motion data) This provides everything he needs to know on FACT to what the body and club are doing at the same time and this helps in providing a well structured lesson to maximise a player's performance. Chris likes to stay in contact with players; setting targets / challenges to obtain feedback from his players while they are not taking lessons.

Chris has methodically demonstrated the root causes of my inconsistent interaction with the ground, ball contact and flight and provided me with a simple way to change my setup and take away to help the consistency. His after lesson videos are clearly explained and are a permanent record I can review at any time in the future. Great job Chris

I've always struggled with fat and thin shots and the ball going off to the right. Chris has really helped me understand my shot tendencies. Which were linked to incorrect Fundamentals, having a cause and effect pattern with the inconsistent shots I was playing. Chris is a great coach, who has created a personalised road map for me on how to get better. Highly recommended
