About the coach
thanks for visiting my profile i’m carl, golf professional in the midlands uk. i came into golf quite late in life but got the bug, i had regular lessons, hit lots of balls and after 3 years i had a handicap of plus 1. became assistant professional to richard at belmont and did my training under him, working at the range and also teaching at hoar cross hall golf academy 2 days a week. richard left in 2012 so i became head professional at belmont up until it’s closure in July 2024 . i played on the elite pro tour and the jamega tour but realised i didn’t have what it takes to compete so i focused on coaching. the one thing i would say is i like to keep the golf swing as simple as possible. hope to see you all soon carl

Carls communication and availability was excellent. Carls feedback was quick and accurate. Carl sent me drills to adjust my swing and I have shown improvement based on his recommendations.
