About the coach
Ricky has played in three Open Championships winning the Bronze Medal as an amateur at Muirfield in 1987. He represented England in over 38 matches, losing just five times and went on to represent Great Britain & Ireland in the Eisenhower Trophy and St Andrews Trophy teams in 1990.
In 1991 when he became English Amateur Champion and represented GB&I against the USA in the Walker Cup matches at Portmarnock. Other members of that team included Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley against an American side which included Phil Mickelson and David Duval.
After playing for seven years on the European Tour, where he achieved several top ten finishes, Ricky has now settled in to the challenging and exciting role of Club Professional.
He has been fortunate to play with some of the world's top players, learning all aspects of the game of golf from them.
He recently played in the British Seniors Championship at Sunningdale.
