Teaching Philosophy

I don't believe there is one perfect golf swing or one solution that works for everyone. However I do believe in a few key principles: Your golf swing is yours, but my job is to understand what you're trying to achieve, identify what's holding you back and give you clear, practical things you can work on to get the most out of your game. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a solid foundation, a club golfer trying to lower your handicap, a low-handicap player looking for more consistency, or an aspiring professional trying to take your game further, my goal is the same: Help you understand your golf and give you the tools to play better golf. I'm particularly passionate about helping golfers understand the difference between working on your swing and actually playing better golf. After spending so many years competing, I know that scoring isn't just about technique. It's also about decision-making, strategy, confidence, managing pressure, understanding your tendencies and knowing how to get the most out of the game you have on any given day. Sometimes you just need the right information, a clear plan and someone with the experience to help you understand what matters to shooting lower scores.
