Coming up through the New York Yankees organization, I learned firsthand what separates good players from great ones — it's the work done when no one is watching, the refinement of mechanics, and the mental resilience to push through setbacks. Whether we're working on receiving behind the plate, improving arm mechanics, or developing a hitter's approach, I focus on building a strong foundation first. I want my students to truly understand *why* they're doing what they're doing, not just copy a movement. My background has given me a unique, dual perspective — I've experienced the demands of catching at the professional level and have also developed a pitching arsenal from scratch, which means I understand the art of throwing from multiple angles. Every player I work with gets an honest, personalized approach. I'm not here to give you a cookie-cutter lesson — I'm here to help you become the best version of yourself on the field.
About the coach
I'm a Venezuelan professional baseball player with over six years of experience in the New York Yankees minor league system. Signed out of Caracas, Venezuela at 16 years old for $600,000, I came into the organization as one of the top-ranked catching prospects in my international class, known for an elite 70-grade throwing arm and strong defensive instincts behind the plate. I rose as high as the #11 prospect in the Yankees' system and competed through Double-A Somerset before transitioning to pitching — where I quickly reached triple-digit velocity. Along the way, I was part of the 2024 Arizona Fall League champion Salt River Rafters. My professional journey has given me a deep, technical understanding of both catching and pitching — from framing and blocking to arm care, mechanics, and pitch development. I'm passionate about passing on what I've learned through years of professional development to players who are hungry to grow.
