Teaching Philosophy
I believe great coaching doesn't have to be complicated. My approach is built on three things: clarity, simplicity, and results. When you come to me for a lesson, I want you to leave knowing exactly what to work on, why it matters, and — crucially — how to practise it effectively so the changes actually stick on the course. I use the best technology available — TrackMan launch monitor and SAM Putt Lab — not to overwhelm you with data, but to give us both a clear, objective picture of what's really happening with your swing or putting stroke. Evidence-based feedback removes the guesswork and helps us cut straight to what will make the biggest difference to your game. I work with golfers of all abilities, from complete beginners picking up a club for the very first time to competitive players looking to sharpen their game. Every lesson is tailored to you — your swing, your goals, and the way you learn best. Whether it's your full swing, short game, or putting, I'm here to help you improve in a way that's enjoyable, efficient, and built to last.
About the coach
I'm a full-time PGA Professional based at Cumberwell Park Golf Club in Wiltshire, with over 10 years of coaching experience and thousands of lessons delivered to golfers of all levels. Golf has been my passion since I first picked up a club at the age of four, and turning that passion into a career has been everything I hoped it would be.
I turned professional at 18 and completed my PGA Foundation Degree, finishing top of the West Region in all three years of training — an achievement recognised with three consecutive PGA UK West Region Assistant of the Year awards in 2017, 2018, and 2019. I also received the Blenkarne Cup, one of the region's most prestigious honours for assistant professionals, and finished 7th nationally in the PGA Assistant of the Year award upon qualifying.
Since qualifying, I've continued to invest in my education and now hold TrackMan Certified Professional status at both Level 1 and Level 2, as well as SAM Putt Lab Accredited Instructor status. I'm also a Titleist Staff Ambassador with a strong interest in custom fitting. As the Wiltshire County Coach, I'm deeply involved in the local golf community.
My coaching philosophy is simple: keep it clear, keep it practical, and make sure every golfer I work with understands not just what to change, but how to practise it so those changes translate onto the course. I coach from beginners to competitive players, and every session is tailored to the individual.
