My coaching philosophy is rooted in one simple idea: every golfer deserves a plan that's built around them — not a one-size-fits-all approach. Having played at international and professional tour level, I know what it takes to perform under pressure and how to build a game that holds up when it matters most. I take a student-centred, performance-driven approach, blending modern tools like video swing analysis and TrackMan data with clear, practical guidance that cuts through the noise. About the coach
I'm a PGA Professional Level III coach and former Welsh International golfer with over 20 years of experience in the game at the highest levels — from representing Wales as an amateur international to competing on professional tours around the world. That playing background isn't just a line on a CV — it's the foundation of how I coach. I understand the game from the inside out, and I bring that real-world perspective to every lesson I give. Now based at Chester & North Wales Golf Academy, I work with golfers of all abilities, from first-timers picking up a club to competitive players fine-tuning their performance. My lessons combine the latest technology — including TrackMan launch monitor data and video swing analysis — with personalised practice plans designed to drive genuine progress. I don't just tell you what to do; I help you understand why, so the improvements you make on the lesson tee translate to results on the course.
