About the coach

Dr. Sandra Harrell is a 5X All-American swimmer and has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with her Master’s in Exercise Science & Health Promotion. She specializes in coaching you to stay injury-free in and out of the water by optimizing your technique and movement in the pool and in the gym. She has coached competitive age-group and Masters swimming teams and triathletes, and has over 25 years of swimming experience. She loves 1-on-1 coaching because she understands that no two people are built the same, therefore no two people move the same. She tailors all of her coaching according to each athlete and their particular biomechanics in order to help swimmers optimize their technique and movement. It was very easy for Piper to pick the points Dr.Harrell highlighted and her delivery was so kind and excepted very well. Piper came home from practices and was able to repeat the 3 topics she highlighted, and excited about the information that she brought it up on her own.

Coach Sandra is remarkable and highly informative. With each lesson, my girls demonstrate notable improvement in their techniques, which they successfully apply during their everyday swim practice. I am astounded by their consistent time improvement at each swim meet. We highly recommend her video analysis, which provides in-depth feedback on areas that require improvement and recognition of their proper technique.
