About the coach

My name is Michael Sweenie and I am a Head Performance Coach dedicated to improving golfers of all levels from Professional’s to club level. Based at the world class DP World Performance Centre, Tommy Fleetwood Golf Academy at Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai UAE. Throughout recent years from my time at Turnberry, to then working in Europe and onto UAE I have developed a reputation as a passionate golf coach committed to getting the most out of players ability and ensuring they have access the best and most accurate information possible.

Regardless of the level of the student, my aim is to set out to help the player achieve their individual goals and targets, along with developing strong player/coach relationships to get the most out of the process. Throughout my own personal development I have been fortunate to study under some of the best golf coaches and instructors in the world of golf.

Throughout my years in coaching I have worked endlessly to develop extensive experience in full swing analytics, Biomechanics, human movement patterns, ground force reactions and other key areas which allow me to try get find the best potential for each player to find their own style and swing preference.

In recent years have developed a reputation in the region as a putting specialist with helping students from DP World / Challenge tour to amateur club level. Along with many areas of the game, I have a passion for putting coaching and delivering multiple daily putting sessions applying years of experience to make sure that all areas are covered on the greens around player putting performance.

You can watch your coach’s analysis, which may include video, audio, text, or drawings and see the changes and improvements they suggest for your swing. You can also ask your coach follow-up questions you have, and chat with them through the app. You can also review your feedback and track your progress anytime on the app.
