About the coach
My passion is teaching and helping students accomplish their goals on the course. My approach has always been fundamentals first. Without solid fundamentals, it is very hard to get your swing in the correct positions to achieve your optimal ball flight. I will tailor our sessions based on what your goals are and how much time you have to practice/play.

I am very bad about writing reviews. McAulay deserves better. I have worked with several coaches in the last few years and nothing compares to the training and patience that I have been receiving from McAulay! I am definitely seeing the improvements that I was hoping for.

McAulay is a wizard. I booked him for a 2 hour in-person lesson. I was having consistency issues mainly with my irons. I took 3 swings and he immediately knew what I was doing wrong. He gave me a drill to try and help what I should be feeling at impact. After trying this drill, I knew the feel, and I attempted full swings with his help, and by the end of the lesson I was flushing my irons. I'm amazed at his ability to diagnose swing problems and to offer solutions that help. Another great thing is that he helps you with exactly what you want, he doesn't try and tell you to fix a bunch of different things you don't want or need. This was my 3rd lesson with McAulay. I've booked him for 2 short game lessons and a lesson to help with my inconsistencies within my golf swing, and that is exactly what I have received. No "upselling". Which is a breath of fresh air in the current instructor world. You can rest easy knowing that whatever you spend your money on, is exactly what he will work with you on and nothing else. Because of this, and his ability to diagnose swing faults, and immediately implement changes to help be more consistent, I will only work with McAulay. I guarantee you he will help you with whatever it is you need.
