About the coach

Kelvin is a Class A PGA golf professional in San Francisco, California. He has taught at some of the top golf clubs in the Bay Area, which include The Olympic Club and Sonoma Golf Club. He is a certified Mindfactor coach and a recent golf.com “Top Teacher to Watch”. Kelvin also publishes monthly articles on GolfWRX and is host of the Kelvin Kelley Golf Podcast.

Kelvin works with his students to develop an efficient golf swing. A swing that is repeatable, powerful and will strive under pressure. He welcomes golfers of all skill levels however is geared towards the more committed golfer. Besides swing and short game instruction, Kelvin is an expert in on and off the course coaching. This includes mental preparation, developing practice routines and course strategizing.

The Starting Position

The Starting Position is everything. The origin to your swing faults often lies here. There is more to your set-up and body angles then you have previously been taught. This course will get you started ready to go the correct direction and play your best golf. Been trying to shape the ball or just clean up contact? It starts in the starting position or as I call it your “Hitting Angles”. This 10 minute long video discusses how to get into these angles. Like any sport, you have to start correctly.
