About the coach

Your dream swing is closer than you think.

I’m Jonathan Chown—golf coach, content creator, and the guy behind JChownGolf with over 135k YouTube subscribers, 72k Instagram followers, and 38k TikTok fans.

I’ve coached everyone—from everyday golfers dropping double-digit handicaps to professional players and mini-tour winners.

My specialty? Identifying the root cause of your faults and giving you a clear, step-by-step plan to fix them for good.

But here’s what makes my approach different: I’m not just teaching theory. I became a professional golfer despite living with cerebral palsy, a movement and strength–impairing disability. I know what it takes to adapt, overcome, and perform at the highest level—because I’ve lived it.

If you’re serious about:
* Slashing your handicap fast
* Understanding your swing like never before
* Getting proven, personalised coaching that actually works…
…then it’s time to stop guessing and start improving.

📌 Send in your lesson now—because every round you wait is another round stuck in the same swing.

How To Make A Swing Change As Fast As Possible

Struggling to make a swing change that actually sticks? Most golfers spend months—or even years—trying to fix the same swing faults without making lasting progress. The problem isn’t always what you’re working on. It’s HOW you’re practising it. In this FREE course, I’ll show you how to accelerate your swing changes, practise with purpose, and turn new movements into lasting improvements on the golf course. Stop wasting practice sessions. Start making real progress.

The Ultimate Guide To Rotation In The Downswing

In this course you will gain a coaching level of knowledge on rotation, and of course how to add better quality rotation to your own personal golf swing. If you have ever wondered why you struggle to rotate, or even why when you try to rotate you hit the ball worse? Then this is the course for you. Learn to rotate efficiently and become a more powerful and consistent golfer.

Fixing Your Early Extension Masterclass

If you’re tired of constantly early extending and no matter what you do to fix it nothing works, then this course is for you. Early extension is impossible to fix without knowing your root cause reason to why you early extend, but when it’s identified, the fixing process becomes simple and straightforward. This course dives into all the different root cause reasons to why you early extend, the practice routine that’s tailored to each individual root cause reason that will absolutely fix your early extension. The course also contains best practices in speeding up the improvement process and my all time favourite early extension fixing drills.

Complete Guide To Shallowing In The Downswing

A complete guide on how to shallow the golf club in the downswing for your specific golf swing. This course includes all the different moves that cause the club to shallow out in the downswing (variables), which shallowing variables match with your specific own golf swing, and exactly how to get the shallowing variable into your golf swing with a tailored in detail practice structure to follow.

The Ultimate Over the Top Fix Guide!

This Course is the ultimate fix for any golfer struggling with an over the top golf swing. By the end of this course, you’ll not only understand what causes an over the top golf swing, but you’ll also know exactly what you need to do to fix your over the top golf swing, and most importantly how to practice to get maximum results!
