About the coach

Jon Schoepf is the Director of Instruction at Rolling Hills Country Club, just south of Los Angeles. He is a 3-time honoree of Golf Digest Best Young Teachers in America, a U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Coach (2024), and was named the 2025 SCPGA Teacher of the Year. Jon also serves as one of the coaches for United States National Development Program Team California, helping develop elite junior players.

Originally from central Pennsylvania, Jon attended Pennsylvania State University and has been a member of the Professional Golfers' Association of America since 2014. His coaching career includes working with renowned instructors such as Jim McLean and James Leitz, while integrating advanced technologies like 3D motion capture and biomechanics into his teaching.

Jon coaches players of all levels—including tour professionals and elite juniors—and specializes in building custom training plans designed to deliver measurable improvement.
