Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy starts with one simple principle: understanding you as an individual golfer. Before I ever suggest a change, I want to know your swing, your game, and what's genuinely holding you back. Too many golfers work hard on the range but see little improvement on the course — and that's the gap I focus on closing. Every lesson I give is built around helping you understand not just what to change, but why, and how that change will show up when it matters most during a round. I use video analysis and performance data to give you clear, objective feedback, and I build personalised practice plans so that your time away from coaching is as productive as our time together. Whether you're a complete beginner, a mid-handicapper looking to break a barrier, or a competitive player chasing consistency, I believe practice should be purposeful, simple, and directly relevant to your game. Golf should be enjoyable — and it's far more enjoyable when you're improving.
About the coach
I'm a fully qualified PGA Professional based in Essex, coaching at Orsett Golf Club in Grays. My passion is helping golfers of all abilities get more out of their game — whether that means improving technique, lowering a handicap, performing better under pressure, or simply enjoying their golf more. My approach is built around understanding your individual swing and identifying the specific areas holding your game back. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I create a clear, personalised plan that gives you a roadmap for improvement. Critically, I focus on how changes transfer from the practice ground to the course — because that's where it truly counts. Through in-person sessions and online coaching, I use video analysis, performance data, and tailored practice plans to deliver feedback that's practical and immediately usable. I believe the best coaching makes things feel simpler, not more complicated. If you're ready to make your practice count and start seeing real improvements in your scores, I'd love to work with you.
