I came into coaching after a successful playing career, highlights of which are reaching 8th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, representing England for 4 years and winning the English Amateur Championship. I now balance my coaching alongside competing regularly in regional and national events as playing is a big part of my background. As a player I always wanted answers… Why wasn’t my ball behaving as planned? What was I doing wrong? I have a passion to learn and attend courses/seminars/certifications regularly to expand my knowledge and get the answers I’m after. This meant it’s been an easy and rewarding transition into coaching and one that I thoroughly enjoy.
As a coach, I believe in looking at the golf swing as holistically as possible, everything could affect everything. If I make this change, what’s the possible ripple effect on other areas? This is the biggest skill I’ve developed as a coach, as I strive to find the 1 fix that improves 4 or 5 different problem areas. I have often said to clients “my job is to teach myself out of a job” as I believe understanding is the real key to success. With the use of Skillest we can go through your shot pattern & swing to work out a plan of action and send you video reviews and drills to use as a reminder of what to work on. There’s even the ability to have 24/7 communication via my subscription so we can keep you on track and improve faster.
Whist my expertise as a coach lies in the full swing helping golfers of all ages & genders strike the ball better, improve their distance through efficiency and enjoy the game more, I am also certified in putting, short game, psychology and physical training.

Todd provided a swing analysis for some swings I sent in. He was able to spot some of my main issues and root causes for them which was great. His response video was thorough and helpful in pointing out how I could get into better positions throughout the swing. Would definitely recommend.
