Outstanding! This was my first lesson on Skillest, and Terry far exceeded my expectations. He provided me with about half an hour of personalized video feedback on my swing, clearly highlighting what was working well and identifying areas for improvement. Unlike most others, he didn't focus on hitting specific positions. Much of his advice was about how I could set up to better match my body type. So much easier to change my setup than to hit a position during the swing. What impressed me most was his approach to what others considered flaws in my swing; he showed me how similar aspects are actually present in the swing of Scottie Scheffler, offering a fresh perspective that was both enlightening and encouraging.Terry didn't resort to generic tips. Instead, he provided detailed explanations and demonstrated a variety of corrections and drills tailored to my specific needs. He encouraged exploring specific setup changes, different swing thoughts and a handful of drills to discover what works best for me, making the instruction highly personal and practical. His understanding of the golf swing and exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively really stood out. A standout moment was his observation that "Your right miss is really a 'don't go left' miss," which completely shifted how I view my swing and what's causing my misses. Previously, I spent over a year with someone I consider a good coach and, while I saw solid improvement, I struggled with consistently achieving certain positions he thought I should be hitting. Terry's advice was what I needed to hear, emphasizing that not all traditional advice suits everyone. He pointed out that my body isn't built to perform some conventional moves and advised against adjustments like strengthening my grip (to fix my right miss), which had only made my issues worse. I'd love to have a swing that looks like Adam Scott or Tiger, but I'm just not built that way....If I keep trying to hit their positions I'm going to continue to be frustrated. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with Terry's coaching on Skillest. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to move away from a one-size-fits-all approach and find a swing that suits their unique body type and capabilities.

Terry's instruction is pure gold for me. I have played this game for a long time (over 40 years) and at a fairly high amateur level - never have I hit it better than after Terry's lesson. As a medical educator for over 20 years, I am always trying to find a way to explain difficult concepts to my students. I find Terry's instruction and explanation easily understandable. I love all the different feels he provides for different movements. I also purchased his swing characteristics and cover golfer video library. I found them a tremendous resource for understanding this new swing at a deeper level. He is not a method teacher but instead helps you find the best swing for your biophysical profile.
