About the coach
One of the biggest names in golf instruction, Sean Foley coaches the likes of Olympic gold medalist, Justin Rose, two-time PGA TOUR winner, Cameron Champ, 2016 Masters Champion, Danny Willett, two-time LPGA Major winner, Lydia Ko, and was formerly the coach of Tiger Woods. Born and raised outside of Toronto, Foley set out to be a teacher of elite players after watching David Leadbetter work with Nick Faldo on the range at the RBC Canadian Open in 1988. He played college golf at Tennessee State University, and went on to begin his teaching career at Glen Abbey GC. Today, Sean is the host of some of the most widely-consumed content on GOLFPASS. Foley teaches out of Sean Foley Performance in Orlando, FL, a full-time residential program offering elite golf training and a world-class academic experience for junior players. Sean’s core teaching philosophy is driven by a passion to help golfers evolve into the best players and people they can be, incorporating biomechanics, leading technology, physiology, performance psychology and philosophy into his instruction. Twice featured on the cover of Golf Digest, Foley has taught countless prominent celebrities, titans of industry and executives across the globe. He currently lives in Orlando with his wife and two sons.

That was awesome! Thank you! I enjoyed that and your explanation makes total sense. Youre absolutely right. Sometimes I shut too quickly and the ball goes left. I am 59 and I know I will not going to get my hips open like Hogan. As you said just trying to layer on some items. I watched Nicklaus as a kid at Frenchmans creek and have studied his swing. He definitely stood up. I always thought it was because of his upright swing which was the style back then. Thank again! And good luck in the playoffs, Jimmy
