About the coach

My name is Rich Coffin and I specialise in helping ‘the average golfer’ simplify their golf swings so that they can play without confusing and complicated swing thoughts.

My goal is to convey my beliefs about the golf swing in the simplest possible way and make the fastest possible improvements in all areas of the game.

I’ve been coaching golf for over 20 years and playing and involved in the sport for almost 50 years (ouch!). My aim is to ensure you benefit from my own experiences… both good and bad.

My approach to coaching is a holistic one, as I believe that any weakness in any part of the game erodes confidence and adds even more pressure to the strengths in your game… let’s address the real gremlins in your game.

I also believe that most online video tutorials… although excellently delivered, are far too complicated or advanced for the average golfer to implement. Advice is often conflicting and must leave the average golfer bemused and confused… there are far simpler ways to make significant gains in your game.

Although I can help any standard of golfer improve, I specialise in helping golfers currently shooting in the 90’s who have the goal of shooting 70-something in the future and, subsequently, achieving their dream of a single-figure handicap.

Above all, you don’t just need another golf lesson, you need a coach… someone who gets to know you, keeps you on track, and helps you get to where you want to be!
