Teaching Philosophy

I believe that great golf instruction starts with understanding why — not just what. Having competed as a tour professional, I know firsthand what it takes to build a swing that holds up under pressure, and I bring that competitive insight into every lesson I give. My approach centers on the biomechanics of the golf swing: identifying the root causes of issues rather than treating surface-level symptoms. I break down complex mechanics into clear, digestible concepts so that every student — regardless of skill level — walks away with a real understanding of what they need to do and why it works. Every lesson I deliver includes a detailed video analysis with a voiceover explanation of what I see in your swing, followed by a personalized demonstration video of the specific drills designed to guide you in the right direction. The work doesn't stop when the session ends — you keep the videos and notes to study and revisit on your own time. I aspire to get 1% better every day, and I hold my students to that same standard. Whether we're working together online or face-to-face in Chicago, my goal is the same: to give you the tools, the understanding, and the confidence to play your best golf.

About the coach

I'm a former tour professional and dedicated golf coach based in Chicago, Illinois, with a story rooted in an unshakeable passion for the game. Growing up in Thailand, golf was never just a hobby — it was my calling, my only plan. That singular focus drove me through a competitive playing career and ultimately led me to where I am today: helping everyday golfers unlock their potential through expert, personalized instruction.

I specialize in the biomechanics of the golf swing, with a gift for making complex technique simple and actionable. My coaching style has helped golfers of all levels — from beginners picking up a club for the first time to competitive players looking to sharpen their edge — improve their game and reach their goals. With over 3,400 lessons delivered and more than 1,000 students coached online, I've built a proven system that gets real results.

For in-person students, I coach at Ace Golf Club (indoors) and The Preserve at Oak Meadows (outdoors) in the Chicago area. For those who can't make it to Chicago, I bring the lesson to you through video analysis and remote coaching — with turnaround within 24–48 hours. Every lesson includes a voiceover swing analysis and a personalized drill demonstration video that you keep forever.
