About the coach
I am the Utah Section PGA Teacher of the year for 2022. I have been a PGA member for 28 years. I have over 30 years experience teaching golf. I also compete at a high level having qualified for the PGA Senior Championship in 2021 and 2022. It is important to communicate clearly how much you want to work on your golf game. Not everybody wants to rebuild their entire swing from scratch. Some students prefer an instructor to work with what they already have, and find simple solutions to make some some improvement. Other students want to spend a lot of time working on their swing and are willing to be patient to make the difficult changes needed to revamp a swing. Short game is low hanging fruit and an area of golf instruction I believe I particularly excel at. I studied with the Short Game Chef at TPC Scottsdale in Arizona and am a huge fan of Dan Grieve and his short game coaching. For full swing lesson please send a video from face on and down the line (slow motion setting so club face isn’t so blurry). Also send a close up photo of your grip. For short game help I am not worried about your grip unless it’s really bad but please send down the line and face on videos.

Exceptional teacher. Full putting lesson was very in-depth, plenty of repetition to get used to the changes and lots of feedback. Great teacher passionate about what he does and the game of golf.

I love working with Paul. He knows his stuff and in 1 hour he had be chipping and pitching the ball better than ever in life. I also like that he is simple to understand and he teaches great drills. I HIGHLY recommend Paul to any golfer who wants to get better!!
