Teaching Philosophy

You don’t need a perfect swing to play great golf. After nearly 20 years competing professionally and more than 1,000 tournament rounds, I’ve learned that golfers often lose shots for reasons that have very little to do with creating a prettier golf swing. My job is to find what is actually costing YOU shots. Swing mechanics when necessary. But also ball flight, short game, practice habits, course management, decision-making, confidence and performing under pressure. I’ve earned 11 professional wins, held PGA Tour Canada status, competed in 1,000+ professional events and gone through extensive PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour qualifying. I’ve also studied under some of the game’s most respected coaches, including Jim McLean, Mike Bender and Claude Harmon III. I’m TPI Level 2 Certified, a FlowCode Master Mental Coach and Sportsbox AI Level 1 Certified. My philosophy is simple: SAFE. SIMPLE. EFFECTIVE. No rebuilding your swing just for the sake of rebuilding it. No burying you in six swing thoughts.
