About the coach

Intro
I am a PGA teaching professional with over 30 years of experience, including a period in Beijing China as head of teaching at the Generals Gardens golf facility.
Over many years, teaching players at all levels of skills-from complete novices too low handicap players. I have developed a relaxed teaching style to which many people find they can easily relate to. I currently teach at Melbourne Golf Park and the Riverside Golf and Sports Centre., individual plan to achieve these goals.

My Philosophy
To take a step-by-step approach to improving all facets of each students game. Working together, we identify any obvious areas where there is a need for improvement and then set out a simple , individual plan to achieve these goals. This now gives the student the best way forward to get the most out of their practice and translate into real improvement on course. Each student plan is tailored to their personal circumstances.
My goal is for my students to have at most 1 or 2 swing thoughts at the end of each session. Then making it simpler to take their lesson learnings onto the course and see immediate improvements in different aspects of their game. Which ever that may be; more consistent ball striking, straighter shots, improved putting, better chipping, etc.

I will be available for personal, face-to-face consultations at short notice, at most I will return your messages within 72 hours. I am also proud to be a part of a team which includes health professionals such as world-class osteopath and a biomechanist who specialise in golf specific improvement programs. There will be input from other leading PGA professional club fitters when required.
Through the Skillest teaching app, I am able to interact with you via personalised program that aims to improve all parts of your game. This program is fine tuned as you progress through the stages of learning your new skills.
No matter how small or large a students goal is, I can help them achieve it. It can be as simple as not embarrassing yourself in front of friends or as ambitious as winning a local club championship.
