About the coach
I am a golf professional located in the San Francisco Bay Area and have a unique coaching style in that my focus and approach is heavily rooted in the mental side of the game. After receiving my Masters in Sport Psychology, I spent much of my early career working with athletes as a Mental Skills Coach. I am passionate about helping others achieve peak performance. I truly believe I can help players become better golfers without even touching their swings, simply by giving them the tools to better their mental approach in their own game. Pair that with the technical knowledge of the golf swing and I believe I am a great fit for any level of golfer.
What you can expect…
Giving lessons online is a true partnership. Communication is key. By not having the true back and forth, dynamic conversations as being in person, I need to know what my student’s goals are, what their thoughts are, what their practice routines are so that we can work together to create a personalized game plan to get the most out of the investment. I will ask many questions to gain a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish with each swing. I will analyze your swing and send you personalized videos on what I see, what I would like to see, and drills to help you get to an ideal position to bring more consistency to your game. This platform and my coaching style goes way beyond drawing some circles and lines on a video and telling you what you should be doing. Lessons can also consist of solely focusing on your mental game. Lessons like these could include relaxation techniques, visualization training, goal setting, focus and concentration, positive self-talk, first-tee jitters, pre-shot routines, and much much more.
