About the coach

I have always had an interest in the golf swing and enjoyed teaching the game. This interest led me to pursue a career in golf instruction and become committed to learning as much as I can about being a top instructor. I knew I needed to learn from the best so this led me to go work at The Jim McLean Golf School at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fl. The Jim McLean Golf School is highly regarded as one of the best golf schools in the world. During my time at the golf school I worked as the Lead Assistant Instructor along with completing the rigorous Jim McLean Teaching Certification. I was also able to shadow some of the best instructors in the industry, including Jim McLean. I am now the Lead Teaching Professional at Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA. I have also started my own golf instruction brand called Transition Golf, which is designed to help any type of player improve their game. In my experience shadowing some great instructors I have learned that every student is unique, so their instruction should be unique to them. Every player has different goals and capabilities so I tailor each students instruction to those details. In each lesson I will explain to the student what they are doing now, what the correct way looks like, and how to make the changes needed in their game.
