About the coach
Hey! My name is Jackson Pokorney and I’m a former minor league and collegiate baseball player. I was drafted out of high school to the braves in 2016 before tearing my labrum the following spring in Spring Training 2017. I eventually was released due to my injury getting misdiagnosed and had to get surgery. I then went on to play collegiate ball at Minot State University. There I realized how much I enjoyed helping others progress. Ive been training now for 3 years. My results have been awesome, and it’s been a blast helping guys get their swing to the next level. I like to keep the thought process on swinging as simple as possible. If we can understand the mechanics of what’s happening at contact, we can simplify how to get there. My goal is to help get your bats barrel on plane early, and on plane with the ball for as long as possible. I’ve swung a bat 1000s of times from both sides of the plate so I can confidently say I think I could help, no matter what side of the plate you bat from. I’ve switch hit ever since I can remember, I can also throw with both hands. All these things are just movements. Once you can simplify what’s going on, things become easier to do.

Excellent analysis - he kept the feedback focused on the most important points and he picked up on a couple of things that others havent seen. Good use of tools to illustrate his points. He shared drills and concepts to work on the highlighted issues. Nicely done
