About the coach
I’m a high school pitching coach at McLean High School in Northern Virginia. I have 4 years of experience there, including winning the VA 6A state championship in 2024. I also have almost 10 years of experience giving instruction individually and at baseball camps. As a player I was an all-conference pitcher in high school, leading our team to its first playoff win in 20+ years. I then played 5 years of NCBA (club) D1 at James Madison University, culminating with a 1.57 ERA in my final season. I’m Driveline certified in Pitch Design, and have always enjoyed getting the most out of pitchers who don’t throw 100 mph. My coaching philosophy emphasizes developing the ability to throw strikes, mix pitches, and find strategic edges in games.

4 Lessons- Detailed video analysis using Skillest's analytical tool
- Send details on your current repertoire including videos of each pitch
- I will review your current pitches, and we will discuss your goals to improve current pitches or add a new pitch. Over the course of 4 lessons we can improve existing pitches, develop a new pitch, or a combination of both
- Session 1: you send pictures of your grips, as well as videos of each pitch including ball release. You also send any cues that you currently focus on for each pitch
- Session 2-3: these will vary based on your goals discussed in session 1
- Session 4: this will typically be a game or live AB review of your newly developed pitches
