About the coach

Originally from Cornwall, England, George has had a passion for golf from an early age. His successful amateur golf career included representing Cornwall in the English Junior Champion Cup and being part of the Cornwall Junior Squad. After earning a Business Management qualification, George shifted his focus to coaching and enrolled on the PGA Training Program at Birmingham University. Before moving to Dubai and joining Swing Fit, George was a PGA Trainee Professional at Truro Golf Club in Cornwall. There, he expanded his personal coaching portfolio, teaching a wide range of players from plus handicap golfers to complete beginners. As the head Junior Development Professional at Truro Golf Club, George grew the junior section to over 50 plus members in two years, with team players making it to the Cornwall County U14 Squad. In addition to coaching, George continues to enjoy playing competitive golf, earning multiple top-five finishes on the PGA West Region Circuit. George aims to deliver a coaching style that encompasses key holistic aspects of golf education, including nutrition, exercise, golf swing techniques, and mental coaching.
