About the coach

I am originally from Shillong, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in northeast India. My journey in golf began during high school in Lima, Peru, where my father first introduced me to the game. Living near the historic Lima Golf Club, I quickly developed a deep passion for golf, competing in junior tournaments across South America and immersing myself in the sport from an early age.

This passion eventually led me to the United States, where I pursued a degree in Professional Golf Management in North Carolina. Following my studies, I spent a brief period playing professional golf while based in Bogotá, Colombia. This experience further shaped my understanding of the game at a competitive level.

In 2014, I returned to Asia and shifted my focus more fully toward coaching and player development. In Bangalore, India, I served as General Manager, Teaching Professional, and Honma Club Fitter at Touche Golf Academy, where I worked closely with golfers of all levels to build strong technical foundations and long-term improvement plans. After two years, I moved to Bangkok, Thailand, to become a full-time Teaching Professional at Bangkok Golf Center, continuing to refine my coaching philosophy and instructional approach.

After three years in Bangkok, I took on the role of Head Professional at Vision Golf Academy in Guangzhou, China. Although this chapter was unfortunately cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it added valuable international coaching experience to my journey. Once travel restrictions eased, I relocated to Singapore, where I spent four years as a Senior Golf Coach with GOLFTEC Singapore, working extensively with data-driven instruction and modern coaching technologies. I am now the Manager and Head Instructor at Golf Point Centre (Rama 3), where I continue to focus on delivering high-quality, personalised golf instruction.

With over 12 years of coaching experience and more than 12,000 hours of teaching, I have had the privilege of helping golfers from around the world improve their performance, confidence, and enjoyment of the game. My goal now is simple: to help you reach your golfing goals through structured, thoughtful, and effective coaching.
