About the coach

Golf has been my life, love and passion for 27 years. I started at the age of 10 inspired by my father who was a decent single figure player. I was obsessed with golf from the very beginning and improved quickly. At the age of 23 I was playing off a handicap of +3 and I decided I was ready to take the leap into the professional game. This was a huge eye opener for me. I realised that I wasn’t nearly as good as I thought I was. Over the next 5 years I ground it out on the mini tours and Q Schools and made some improvements to my game. I experienced the highs and the lows of being a journeyman professional. I won a few events and missed cuts. I shot scores ranging from 60 to 90. Ultimately at the age of 28 I stepped into the coaching world to earn some money. Little did I know at that time that I was about to find my true passion which is helping others to play better golf.

I believe my experiences as a player serve me well as a coach. I’ve learnt from my mistakes, from my successes and from hundreds of amazing players and coaches that I’ve been able to spend time with.

I’m now 9 years into my coaching journey and I’m really excited to use the Skillest platform to meet people that are passionate about the game and motivated to improve.
