About the coach

Hi Everyone, thank you for viewing my profile. I am Aaron Cashin, an Irish Professional Golfer and 3rd Year PGA Trainee🇮🇪.I have a strong passion for helping all levels of golfers fulfil their maximum potential and reach their highest levels of performance. I am excited to work with you and help reach these levels. I have been working in golf since 2019 as assistant professional in Tramore Golf Club. I began my PGA training in 2022 and I am going into my final year of training. I played at a high level at junior level, playing on numerous occasions for my province Munster in national competitions. At 18, I decided to persue a career in sport’s performance and management, and completed four years in SETU Waterford studying Recreation and Sports Management. After I received my honours degree I realised my passion was golf coaching and began the PGA. I have now become a teaching professional in Waterford Golf Club and also Head Customer Fitter at McGuirks Kilkenny. I have also maintained my level of golf and play on the Irish PGA Circuit where my best finish of the year was Tied 4th in the Liffey Valley Pro Am. The standard of golfers I coach ranges from top level juniors, top level senior championship golfers, to complete beginners. At Aaron Cashin Golf, no matter what level the student is, we set goals and make a SMART plan to promote progression after the lesson. I believe that clear and simplified explanations, coupled with suitable drills are required to help the student achieve long-term golf success. I look forward to helping you in your golfing journey!
