About the coach

As a former first class wicketkeeper-batsmen himself, Adam Crosthwaite has become a highly regarded wicketkeeping coach in Australia. He has worked as a batting and wicketkeeping coach for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League and the WBBL. Along with this he has also been the wicketkeeping coach for the Victorian Women’s team. Adam has coached internationally for the Seattle Thunderbolts as head coach in the MiLC in the USA. Crosthwaite led his team to the national championship 2022.

Crosthwaite is known for his ability to communicate technical information to his students in a clear and concise manner, helping his players to improve their skills quickly and effectively. He also emphasises the importance of mental preparation and resilience, which are critical qualities for cricketers who must remain focused and alert for extended periods during a match and through their careers.
