If you want to record your golf swing to get an online golf lesson on Skillest<\/a>, make sure you record from the correct camera angles. You can either ask somebody to record your swing for you or you can buy a camera \/ phone stand so you can record your own golf swing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing The Right Phone Stand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Phone Tripod<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I like using a tripod because it is easy to setup and move around. Also, you can use the tripod to take non-golf related pictures as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need to make sure that your tripod can extend to be tall enough to record from hip height. Here is a photo of the phone tripod stand I use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Golf Bag Attachment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Another option many golfers use is a device to attach your phone to your golf bag. These devices are nice because they are small and fit in your golf bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting The Right Camera Angles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The right camera angles make all the difference. Most golf instructors like to see your golf swing from two different perspectives, Face On and Down The Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Face On<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The “face on” or “front on” view is shown in the image. It’s important for the camera to be positioned at hand height and directly in front of the golfer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You also want to make sure that when you take a full swing, the whole shaft of the club is visible in the video for your entire swing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
